The Evansville District Walk to Emmaus was launched in 1993 as part of the international ecumenical Emmaus movement and has continuously and successfully sponsored Walk to Emmaus weekends ever since. In March 2018, EDWE will be blessed to sponsor its 90th and 91st weekends. Everyone who has attended an Emmaus weekend, whether sponsored by EDWE or any other 4th Day Community, is welcomed to attend our monthly Gatherings during which we enjoy fellowsh.CONTENT

If the cause was honorable and necessary, as in WW II, then yes. If it was not, as in Vietnam and Iraq, then, sadly, no. Gratitude is not the proper response to those who helped, however unwittingly, to perpetrate a massively mortal mistake. Respect and care, yes.
